Please ensure the following website updates are made so we may obtain your Brand ID from The Campaign Registry to enable texting on your system:

1. Contact Us Page / Any Form

If your website requests a phone to be entered, it cannot be a mandatory field and there must be a conditional statement on the same page where you request the phone number:

“By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from (ENTER your Company Name). Message & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP or clicking the unsubscribe link (where available). Reply HELP for help. Privacy Policy [INSERT link to your Privacy Policy]

2. Privacy Policy

Please add or link a privacy policy to your website, which needs to include this statement:

“We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages

All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. You can opt-out at any time by replying STOP to any message received.”

If There is No Privacy Policy

Then the combined sharing and privacy compliant verbiage below needs to be on the webform (Contact Us Page) as well:

“By providing your phone number, you are opting to receive SMS notifications from (Enter your company name) and consent to receive transactional and promotional messages. Message frequency may vary, and standard message and data rates may apply. Text opt-in consent data will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. You can opt-out at any time by replying STOP to any message received.

No Phone Number Requested on Website
